In another tragic boat capsizing incident that occurred at Revu Polavaram coast in Anakapalli district, a fisherman drowned on Monday. Identified as Chodipalli Simhadri, he was among the four fishermen who ventured into the sea for fishing in the early hours of Monday. While one fisherman was drowned, another three were reached ashore. However, the body of the deceased was traced near Bangarammapalem beach. According to sources, the incident happened after a few of the fishermen were caught in a rope and lost control. Owing to low-pressure along the Bay of Bengal, officials concerned alerted fishermen against venturing into the sea. Meanwhile, fishermen Association union leaders demanded compensation for the bereaved family members of Chodipalli Simhadri as he was the sole bread winner of his family.
