Sri Veerabhadra Swamy Temple is one of the most sacred Shiva temples in Andhra Pradesh, situated on the picturesque Devakuta Parvatham, an island hill in the middle of the Godavari River at Pattiseema, near Polavaram. The temple is dedicated to Lord Veerabhadra, the fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, and is regarded as one of the Pancha Kasi Kshetrams mentioned in the Skanda Purana.
